Financial Sector Strategy – Supply Side
Coordinating a team of experts conducting a supply side study of Malawi’s financial sector that included interviewing and benchmarking all major microfinance institutions. The study had a particular emphasis on improving access to finance, and provided valuable insights into the draft financial sector development strategy.

Analysing efficiency losses in tobacco value chain, making recommendations on improving social and economic circumstances of tobacco farmers in Malawi (a country for 60% of GDP dependent on tobacco) and presenting outcomes to senior management of an international tobacco leaf buyer.
